Psalm 100:4
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
Call to Worship:
One: Be joyful and sing as you come to worship God! Let the whole world shout praise to God!
All: We are God’s people, and God is our shepherd. Let the whole world shout praise to God!
One: Give thanks and praise to God as you gather to worship. Let the whole world shout praise to God!
All: For God is good! God’s love and faithfulness last forever! Let the whole world shout praise to God!
Opening prayer:
God of all space and time: as this church year ends, help us to remember that you are with us always. As we move into the season of Advent, fill us once again with a sense of hope and anticipation for all the marvelous things you do in our world. Amen.
Opening Hymn:
Voices United pg 820 #Psalm 100 – Make a Joyful Noise
Confession & Pardon:
One: I was hungry and you said, “There just isn’t enough food to go around.” I was thirsty and you kept polluting and poisoning the rivers and oceans.
All: I was a stranger and you kept your distance, afraid I would take your job. I was cold and scared and you pulled your coat closer around yourself and walked away.
One: I was sick and you said, “You should take better care of yourself.”
All: I was in jail and you thought I should rot there forever.
One: Jesus said, “Whatever you do to the least of my brothers and sisters,” “You do to me.”
All: Forgive us, God, when we ignore your Christ.
One: When we turn to God with honest and open hearts, God forgives us and lets us start again. So be assured that we are loved and we are forgiven. Thanks be to God!
Minute for Mission

Matthew 25:31-45
Reflection:
At the Doorway
Offertory Prayer:
We present these gifts as thanks to you, Lord, for making us yours and caring for us as a good shepherd cares for his sheep.
Help us to recognise Jesus in those who are poor and needy,
and to serve him humbly with what you have given us by serving them. Amen.
Joys and concerns:
Prayers of the People & The Lord’s Prayer
Going Forth Song:
Voices United #424 - May the God of Hope Go With Us
Blessing/Sending Forth:
As we greet each new doorway, let us give all thanks and praise to God, whose power working in us can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine.
Let us work for peace, share our joy with all, and work for a world that is new. Let us go now, remaining faithful when we hear Christ’s call. Amen.
