Palm Sunday
Let us worship together as we read!

or Gary Johnson's page:
Although we are physically distant, in spirit we are together.
As we prepare ourselves for our time of worship, let us remember to give thanks for the ever-flowing love of God that is a part of us all. Nurturing us as beloved children... sustaining us in times of uncertainty...upholding us in times of need...loving us without boundaries.
(Silence)
Breathe on us breath of God.
Make our life whole.
Touch us and heal our wounds.
So that your love may flow.
Opening Prayer:
On this Palm Sunday, we come to your with open hearts and open minds. Ready to listen and absorb what the Palm Parade scriptures have to teach us. Help us to be open to your calling in our life. To embrace the path Jesus took as he made his way to the cross. Showing us the real path to life. To not give in to hatred, anger and jealousy. But to reach out with love and compassion. To seek justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with the Divine. Amen
Hymn: VU #124 "Ride On! Ride On in Majesty!"
Scripture: Mark 11:1-11
Reflection: What's Going on Right Now...?
Closing Prayer:
We thank you for the gift of the internet - that through technology we can be present and connect with one another.
We thank you for this community of faith, that has gathered near and far. God's love expressed from a distance.
We thank you for the seasoned travellers - warriors of faith in our communities. May they sense your ever-lasting peace and presence knowing that although they can't join us online they can be plugged into you at all times.
We thank you for your mercy and grace which is new every day. Revealing to us the light of wisdom and compassion that shines in the recesses of our souls.
We thank you for all care-givers - for the doctors, nurses, and medical researchers. May they sense your presence, your wisdom, and strength during this strenuous time in their lives.
We pray for those who are affected by COVID-19 and other illnesses. For the vulnerable and the fearful, the ill and the dying, that they may know your comfort and peace.
We pray for those in authority for the health and welfare of all humanity - health care officials and government agencies. Give them wisdom and insights to make wise decisions.
We surrender all that we are: our families, our friends, and our neighbours to you. Our time, our resources, our health, and our animal companions...
Let's pray the Lord's prayer together...
Offering:
I invite you to take a moment to think about the gifts God has places in front of you this week. What is one way you can love God, love your neighbour, and love yourself in the coming week?
During this difficult time, our churches - Kerrobert, Evesham, Unity, Dodsland/Plenty, Luseland - are still in need of your donations.
For Kerrobert United Church donation inquiries please contact the number at the bottom of the page. You can mail your cheque to Box 626 Kerrobert SK S0L 1R0
We bring to God your acts of kindness, your caring, and your resources to help your neighbour, your country, and the world. Amen.
