MUSICAL PRELUDE
ANNOUNCEMENTS
WELCOME & CALL TO WORSHIP
One: God be with you
All: And also with you.
One: We come from scattered lives to this sanctuary,
Seeking unity in Spirit,
Seeking the grace of Christ,
Seeking the peace of God.*
OPENING HYMN
Voices United #173 - Thine is the Glory
CONFESSION
All: O God, we confess
The things we try to hide from you,
The things we try to hide from others,
The things we try to hide from ourselves.
We confess
The heartbreak, worry, and sorrow we have caused,
and that makes it hard for others to forgive us;
The times we have made it easy for others to go wrong;
The harm we have done, and cannot undo, and that make it hard for us to forgive ourselves.
Lord have mercy and forgive us. Amen.
WORDS OF ASSURANCE
One: Here is good news for you:
Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. If we confess our sins, God is just, and may be trusted to forgive our sins and cleanse us from every kind of wrong.
So it is that you may be assured that your sins are forgiven. ##

INVITATION TO OFFERING
PRAYER OF DEDICATION
All: Loving God, Mother of us all,
May these gifts, given gratefully,
Be brought to life through the power of your creative Spirit.
Multiply and use them to bring the word,
And the touch of Jesus to your people in this place
And throughout the world. Amen.
JOYS AND CONCERNS
PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE & THE LORD’S PRAYER
Almighty God,
who has blessed the earth, air and sea,
to be abundant and fruitful,
to everything we need,
Prosper those who toil to earn a living,
and grant favourable weather that we may plant, and /or harvest the fruits of the earth, ever rejoicing in your Holy Name.
With grateful hearts we remember those among us
who are aging and give us wisdom and strength for our way.
We remember also those who are young, who need your love and guidance as surely as any.
We pray, O God,
that you keep our elders, youth, and all in your care.
Bless all so we can look forward with peace knowing your love.
O heavenly Father,
who has bestowed on us the comfort of earthly friends:
Look in love upon those dear to us from whom we are separated. Protect them and keep them from all harm;
prosper and bless them in all good things;
suffer them never to be desolate or afraid;
but in your own good time may we renew
the fellowship of sight and hand; through Jesus.
One: As children turn to a mother
who watches over them,
Let us turn to God saying,
All: Our Father who art in heaven …
Forever and ever. Amen.
BLESSING
One: May the blessing of God,
The giver of every good and perfect gift;
And of Christ, who summons us to service;
And of the Holy Spirit,
who inspires generosity and love,
be with us all [as we go out into the world].
All: Amen.
