WELCOME & TIME OF GREETING:
God be with you
And also with you.
Let us look to one another with love and reconciliation.

CALL TO WORSHIP:
One: Love God with all your heart
All: Love your neighbour as yourself
One: Love God with all your mind
All: Love your neighbour as yourself.
One: Love God with all your strength
All: Love your neighbour as yourself.
One: We worship God with our whole being
All: Love your neighbour as yourself.
One: In Deuternomy, the story of Moses unfolded into the story of Joshua.
In God, even our endings find new beginnings.
All: For God is the One in whom all dwell, And God’s story goes on.

SCRIPTURE:
Psalm 90. Part 3 (13-17) VU pp., 805-6

PRAYER OF CONFESSION:
One: God, we confess that sometimes we get angry and frustrated when things don’t go the way we expect, in the time we expect.
All: Lord, forgive us our anger and frustration.
One: We confess we sometimes have trouble hearing and seeing other options when this happens.
All: God, help to unblock our minds, and help open our eyes and ears.
One: Sometimes we get sad and anxious when we hear about the problems in the world.
All: God, forgive our fear and anxiety. Forgive us when we focus on things that lead away from a full and happy life.
Lord, forgive us when we focus on things that oppress and enslave others who, like us, are created in your image.
Lord, forgive our focus, and help us to loosen the grip and enchantment with things that oppress and enslave us.
(silence)
Help us seek the grace that will free us to live in faithfulness to holy love. Amen.
