OPENING PRAYER
We gather in the presence of God, where everyone is welcome.
Blessed are those who fear the Lord. For God’s love endures forever.
As we settle in for worship disclose yourself more fully as we hear your written word that still rings true today.  Your standards and expectations for us hasn’t changed. Give us ears to hear, eyes to see, a heart to love and a spirit to serve.  In the Spirit of Jesus Christ we pray.  Amen

CLOSING PRAYER:
Lord God creator of heaven and earth,
Our hope and strength, our song and our dance,
Thank you for the beautiful sunny weather. Bless the crops and gardens and those who till and work the land. We are grateful for those who work long hours so we can enjoy nourishing sustenance for our hungry bodies. Come to us Holy Spirit, fill us with your presence and longing to do what is right. Help us to cultivate spiritual food for the nourishment of the soul and mind.
God of many blessings...you promise us prosperity, honor, security, freedom from fear…if we fear the Lord and delight in your command. Teach us to revere you, to feel great respect and admiration for your might power and might that comes to us through your love and mercy.
We pray for the grieving; may they find hope and peace during this difficult time of loss.  May they look to you for comfort and strength in time of need.
We pray for the lonely and broken-hearted, the elderly, the sick and the dying. May they feel your healing presence and gentle spirit through those who love and care for them.
We lift up to you those who are searching for true meaning for their life and for those who do not yet know you. Reveal your spirit to them so they can know the truth about your unfailing love and forgiveness.
Help us to be patient and understanding as we continue to deal with Covid19 re openings and restrictions. We give thanks with utmost respect, for front-line workers and health officials, who are making sure we are all kept safe.
We surrender all that we are into the life-giving streams of living waters; the God of grace who enables us to put our faith into action.
Bless us, lead us, guide us....protect us.

THE LORD’S PRAYER

CLOSING WORDS:
The Lord bless you and keep you:
The Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you:
The Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.
