Matthew 3:17
"This is my Son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased."
Such were the words heard by the gathered crowd on the day Jesus was baptized.
How did knowing himself to be a child of God, a beloved one, empower Jesus to be about the work that was his?
How does knowing each of us is a child of God, a beloved one, empower us?
To know ourselves and others as unique, wondrous children of God is a blessing.
Take a moment today to thank God for the gift of your life and to ask God to guide your living so that you might more fully live into being the unique, wondrous child of God that God created you to be.
