Thoughts to ponder

January 15
1 Corinthians 12:12–13
For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.
Have you ever worked on a jigsaw puzzle and been disappointed when you discovered one piece missing, essentially ruining the picture?
One body, many parts—the community of faith is like a jigsaw puzzle with many parts. In God's economy, the body is diminished when one jigsaw piece isn't there, when every single gift isn't celebrated.
How would you describe yourself as one of God's gifts to the world?
What part of the picture are you?
